Hi %FIELD_1%,

Farewell
Our farewell weekend was a beautiful experience. Your letters and cards and expressions of love were humbling. Your tears moved us deeply. My reward is that many of you, at a heart level, believe what my main message was for 26 years: relationships, starting with the one we share with Christ, are the way people will believe that our words about God are authentic. “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:35

Remember the last verses we studied together at the end of the book of Matthew? Before our resurrected and glorified Savior left the mountaintop to rejoin His Father in heaven, He commissioned his best friends to follow up on what He had started. He knew all too well their flaws and weakness, and yet He knew that His perfection flowing through their imperfect personalities was the best way to spread the GOOD NEWS to the rest of the world. It was a perfect plan and it would work: He would implant His Holy Spirit in them which would give them courage and power far surpassing their own: And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20

This promise was to them and it’s also to us. As Arlis and I continue to live out this mission wherever we are, our joy will come from hearing that in Green Bay, Wisconsin, there is a large group of people who are doing the same. God bless every one of you.

With love and a huge debt of gratitude,
Joe and Arlis

iceBlast Scholarships
Statistics tell us that more than 90% of Christians choose Christ before they turn 18. Of those who do, around 80% do so at a retreat or camp experience. Will you help send a kid to our annual middle school retreat called iceBlast? With tough economic times, we have had several requests for scholarships and we are struggling to meet the need. If you can help, please contact Brian Martin, 593-3484. Any money that goes above and beyond our need will go to "outreach scholarships" to encourage students to invite unchurched friends!

Group Life
One of the greatest longings of the human heart is to belong: to know others and be known by others; it's the way God intended us to live.

Group Life provides opportunities for individuals to experience a sense of belonging, to grow together on our spiritual journeys, and to serve others.

While each type of group (Interest, Care, Discovery, Life, & Serving) provides a different opportunity to connect, all are designed around our vision of attracting people to Christ and building community.

No matter where you choose to plug in, there is a place for you in Group Life.
