Hi %FIELD_1%,

Welcome
Have you ever sat in a plane at 25,000 feet and looked out the window? What did you see? (Assuming it was a clear day.) Everything looks pretty much the same. You cannot make out any details; like where is Uncle Mike’s or neighbor Joe’s house, or what is that man doing in the backyard? It’s not until you start descending and are progressively getting closer to the earth’s crust that objects begin to take on a recognizable appearance.

This week Troy gave the staff a bird’s eye view of a strategic plan that will keep us moving forward and prevent us from becoming satisfied with mediocrity. You won’t find the word “mediocrity” in Troy’s dictionary. I don’t even know if Troy owns a dictionary. All the nuts and bolts were not laid out, but I am really looking forward to the direction that the church is headed. You will get a taste of the plan this weekend as Troy gives us a glimpse into his heart and desire for the Green Bay community to nurture and care for those within the body and be salt and light to those outside.

If bird’s eye views make you dizzy, Dramamine will be available at the door. Hope you can be with us this weekend.

Kim Sechler

www.GreenBayChurchSurvey.com
GBCC is partnering with a network of local churches from various denominations that care deeply about our community. With research showing that more and more people are not interested in church, we’d like to gather information on that subject from people right here in northeast Wisconsin.

Whether you go to church every week, a few times each year, or not at all, we’d like to know what you think.  Click here to take the survey.

Please pick up a card at the Welcome Center this weekend to pass to friends and family who don’t regularly attend church and ask them to take the survey.  The link is also available on our website.

The results of the survey will be made available to us in May.

Group Life
One of the greatest longings of the human heart is to belong: to know others and be known by others; it's the way God intended us to live.

Group Life provides opportunities for individuals to experience a sense of belonging, to grow together on our spiritual journeys, and to serve others.

While each type of group (Interest, Care, Discovery, Life, and Serving) provides a different opportunity to connect, all are designed around our vision of attracting people to Christ and building community.

No matter where you choose to plug in, there is a place for you in Group Life.
