Jeremiah's Prayer
I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps.
Jeremiah 10:23
Have you ever stopped to think that we are moving toward something? Moving toward something bigger than ourselves or our plans. Jeremiah states the obvious - when it comes to following our Creator, we are not in charge. We don’t run the escalator of life. He does. He knows. It is with that Truth that God is in control and never changes that I can embrace the escalator moving me forward...upward. He is changing me. He is changing you.
When you stop and think about change, it becomes obvious that most everything in life must. Then why do we resist it? Risk, fear, the unknown are all part of our resistance, but God knows that and still turns the escalator on. In this season, as a church I am excited about how God is moving us toward Himself. People are getting free of sin, getting out of their seats and engaging in the wonderful gift of the Church. Our church is changing. He is not. Our church is changing but He will always be the same.
I don’t know what our journey ahead looks like but I am excited about riding the escalator with you. Let’s watch Him change us.
Troy

Building Operations
Carpet Cleaners Needed
The carpets in the building need cleaning on a regular basis. If you would like to lend a hand, you can learn how to run the carpet extractor. It’s really quite easy and can be fun if you use your imagination and dream you’re operating a Zamboni! Plus you’ll maintain the look and life of the carpets. Bonus! This can be done at your convenience.
Grass Trimming
The grass around the building, machine shed, pond and some of the trees needs trimming on a weekly basis. If you have time and would like to serve outdoors, running power equipment, stop in lend a hand. As Tim the Tool Man Taylor would say, “arh, arh, arh, arh arh!”

Group Life
One of the greatest longings of the human heart is to belong: to know others and be known by others; it's the way God intended us to live.
Group Life provides opportunities for
individuals to experience a sense of belonging, to grow together on our spiritual journeys, and to serve others.
While each type of group (Interest, Care, Discovery, Life, and Serving) provides a different opportunity to connect, all are designed around our vision of attracting people to Christ and building community.
No matter where you choose to plug in, there is a place for you in Group Life.
Discovery Group Classes
