Hi %FIELD_1%,

Change
Ecclesiastes 3:14
I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him.

The verse from Solomon, the man given great wisdom from God, speaks to all of us about the Truth. We are all under His direction and what He does endures forever. This is a comforting thought for me as I measure the efforts of my years, months, days, hours and minutes. What is His will or my way?

Spiritual leadership is the ability to follow the Holy Spirit’s guiding in your life and respond. That almost always is about change. A change in your life, your parenting, your marriage, a friendship or at your place of work. As I have stepped into the Lead Pastor role at Community, I have felt a deep responsibility to listen to those leadings. Conversations, prayer, meetings and more meetings and more conversations and more prayer...change. It’s a tough journey but one that promises His enduring and lasting work in us.

Above is a photo of a parent in Motumo, Kenya. He is a volunteer at his rural school. No cement, school supplies, or resources we would think necessary for a school; only he and a group of other parents making bricks to build something that will last into the next generation. Bricks.

It is my heart and prayer that we as a Church body make God-directed bricks. Bricks that will build into the lives of the next generation. Bricks that will impact our community and the world. Bricks create change. Change that under His direction will last.

Would you join us as leaders to pray for that direction from God?

Troy Murphy

New Summer Service Schedule

Group Life
One of the greatest longings of the human heart is to belong: to know others and be known by others; it's the way God intended us to live.

Group Life provides opportunities for individuals to experience a sense of belonging, to grow together on our spiritual journeys, and to serve others.

While each type of group (Interest, Care, Discovery, Life, and Serving) provides a different opportunity to connect, all are designed around our vision of attracting people to Christ and building community.

No matter where you choose to plug in, there is a place for you in Group Life.

Discovery Group Classes
